Salary and benefits

Vacation schemes

Attendees on our spring and summer vacation schemes will be paid £270 per week and will have full use of our facilities including the staff restaurant, swimming pool and state-of-the-art fitness centre. 

GDL & LPC

We will pay your course fees in full and provide financial assistance in relation to maintenance for both the GDL and the LPC. The level of contribution you are eligible to receive for both fees and maintenance will vary if you have already started the course before making your training contract application.

The current levels of maintenance grants are:

GDL
London £6,000
Outside London £5,000

LPC
London £7,000

The maintenance grants for both the GDL and the LPC are currently paid in three equal instalments in the relevant academic year.

Salaries

We review our salaries every year.

Currently they are:

  • First year trainee £37,400
  • Second year trainee £42,200
  • Newly qualified lawyer £66,600
